Sarah Palin for President

Not very many people want Sarah Palin for president, not even the Republicans. But I do. I think it would be awesome. This country is in free-fall mode, it is just a matter of time until it crashes. We can have a little fun, at least, before everything blows up. So how about we get a good looking GILF into office? We can say we have the hottest grandmother in the world. Something to be proud of. We can have some fun. You know, if a doctor tells you you got a little while to live, you would go and do something crazy before you die. Well we should be enjoying ourselves now.

There is no way out of the problems that will face us in the future. Looking for politicians that you think will help you is just another utopian fantasy. To hope that some guy has the magical power to solve the problems that are waiting to happen. So stop looking for people who tell you false promises. Have fun at at least. Get someone as dumb as they can be. Imagine how much more the news would be interesting if Sarah Palin is president? Do you not think it is worth it for the entertainment?

In a strange way Sarah Palin might be good for the US. She would be so incompetent that nothing will get done. That is fiscal responsibility by default. If she is president for 8 years then nothing will get done. Which is actually a good thing. It is the US going into hibernation mode for 8 years, a little break, before everything breaks down.

So you can form your own little groupthink sessions talking about how terrible Sarah Palin is as you are too intellectually weak to discuss new unpopular ideas among yourselves so you stick to your comfort zone where each of your congratulate another for Palin bashing. But I will be having fun. I will sit back and watch the country fall apart. I think it be pretty funny to watch your try to fix it. I just want more entertainment, so get Sarah Palin in there, she entertains me.

  1. First of all, the country is bigger than any one person. Even someone like Ronald Reagan couldn't change much during his two terms outside of some tax policy. Sarah Palin could be a complete idiot but the machinery of government is so big it'll keep rolling along no matter what she does.
Secondly, the machinery of government is running so incompetently, how can she make it any worse?

  3. The level of personal and consumer debt in America exceeds the actual amount of wealth in the country. So far interest rates are rock bottom which means little pressure when it comes to making those convenient monthly payments. If inflation starts up as a result of the hyperstimulus or if the recession double dips and interest rates start to rise, that will change for worse very quickly. It'll be the housing crisis x 10.

Do not worry. Everything is going fine. Nothing to be concerned about. Justin Bieber released a new video, did you see it? And Lady Gaga too. They were so awesome! You should see them.

  5. I do not disagree that there can be things done to improve our lifestyle and our economic situation in this country. however, directionally i disagree with you. i think we are headed in the right direction.

show me a society or country (past or present) that is perfect or without problems, issues etc. i choose what we got any day of the week. we are not going to hell in a handbasket, sorry

  6. "I do not disagree that there can be things done to improve our lifestyle and our economic situation in this country.":

What an empty feel-good politician answer, a statement no one can disagree with, but something which adds no worth to a discussion at all.

Is there anyone who disagrees with this idea? Why even bring it up? You think everyone thinks that everything is perfect right now with no room for improvement? Stop stating the obvious and mention a propostion with your reasons for it.

Look at Garnel. You may think he is entirely wrong but he has clearly expressed his ideas and what he thinks (and a short reason for it). You have no expressed anything with this empty statement.

"however, directionally i disagree with you. i think we are headed in the right direction.":

I disagree with you! I think we are going in the wrong direction.

See, I can also say dangling empty statement with no basis for them. Explain why you think we are going in the right direction. You think the debt is the right direction? You think that expanding more wars with a weak economy is the right direction? You think that the entire government system of a big giant ponzi scheme is sustainable in the long run?

"show me a society or country (past or present) that is perfect or without problems, issues etc.":

Another empty politician answer. Are we talking about perfect socities? Is there anyone who believes in perfect socities? Do you think there is going to be someone who would disagree with what you just said? Stop stating the obvious and say something of value.

  7. Alright, lets go back and look at your post. here are a few of your quotes

"This country is in free-fall mode, it is just a matter of time until it crashes." (anyhting to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)
"do something crazy before you die" (we are all going to die? this country is going to die? anything to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)
"There is no way out of the problems that will face us in the future." (anything to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)
"I will sit back and watch the country fall apart before everything breaks down" (anything to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)

"If she is president for 8 years then nothing will get done" (this is just false. no president will do nothing!! she will surely work to attack women's reproductive rights, she will certainly try to eliminate the minimum wage. she will certainly use our armed forces overseas. she will certainly lighten the tax burden of the wealthiest 2% in the US. she will certainly try to reduce the power of the FDA and other important government agencies.)

  8. "Alright, lets go back and look at your post. here are a few of your quotes.":

You are pathetically stupid. You do realize that this entire post was a satirical post? You do realize that I do not actually care for Sarah Palin? You do realize that my entire point was to compare any other president to Sarah Palin and say they would be just as bad. You are telling me that you were unable to see the satire in this post?

""This country is in free-fall mode, it is just a matter of time until it crashes." (anyhting to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)":

I did. If you read what I wrote for you I gave you my reasons. You said you think the country is headed in the right direction. I objected to what you said and answered that it is not going in the right direction. Did you read any of that?

""do something crazy before you die" (we are all going to die? this country is going to die? anything to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)":

Again you are pathetically stupid. The sentence from which this was taken from was, 'You know, if a doctor tells you you got a little while to live, you would go and do something crazy before you die.'. This was a sentence with regard to a doctor telling you that you will die soon. You took that out of context and said that this was applicable to everyone in the country dying. You are ridiculously stupid.

""There is no way out of the problems that will face us in the future." (anything to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)":

Yes I can back that up. The country runs on a big giant ponzi scheme. Make promises now, pay the people now from other people's money and repeat this process again. There is little difference to how the government operates and what Bernie Madoff, my man, did. Ponzi schemes are not sustainable in the long run, eventually they will backfire and there will be a lot of problems. We are seeing some of these problems now with the union protests as there is little money avaliable to be given out for them. This problem has been much worse in places like California were people have been given these enourmous promises when they retire. But this is probably way over your empty head so I will stop here.

""I will sit back and watch the country fall apart before everything breaks down" (anything to back that up? or just a statement of fact?)":

This cannot be backed up as this is just my prediction about the future. Perhaps 20 years, I have no idea. But I do believe there will be some very serious financial problems ahead for the reasons that I gave you.

""If she is president for 8 years then nothing will get done" (this is just false. no president will do nothing!!":

You are being stupid again. You do realize that this post was satirical? How dumb can you be?

"she will certainly try to eliminate the minimum wage.":

I doubt she will do that, but I would certinaly love to see the minimum wage law ended.

"she will certainly lighten the tax burden of the wealthiest 2% in the US.":

Doubt this will happen, but if it does, good.

"she will certainly try to reduce the power of the FDA and other important government agencies.":

Doubt this will happen as the FDA has only gained more power since its creation. And yes, I do hope the FDA does get abolished.

  9. Maybe I can interject:
Countries consist of individuals but function as a community. A society that "works" is one that has a common sense of purpose amongst the individuals composing it.
When one says "America is heading in the wrong direction" what does that mean? Is there a moral purpose to America? A national purpose? And if so, is that purpose being achieved by the current actions of the American population as a whole?
If one says "Well in America everyone puts himself first, the greater good of the country be damned" then one could say America is heading in the wrong direction. However, that would be an opinion statement that could not be empirically proved.
On the other hand, I could suggest that the reason Americans are accumulating personal and national debt at such a fast and unsustainable rate is because of that attitude. In that case, there is a secondary measure to prove the original opinion's validity.
